Dear Freinds,

Bigger, better,bolder the favourite words of our DG. How well and apt in timing it applies to Rotary Bangalore Udyog is anybodys guess.

The phenomenal growth of udyog during the last ten years-spurred by successive presidents and ably supported by 100 plus members has made it achieve the position of second best club in the district.

Successive years in the first decade has seen udyog excelling in different areas-initiation, public service, fellowships, industry support,own land, building construction, membership development, buzzing around with one day one activity, health and hunger etc..

Time has now come for udyog to go to a different plane. We need to embark upon large, long term, visible, memorable, preferably stand alone projects that are required and beneficial to the community around us. The year of "Dashamanothsava" and DG’S perspective are just perfectly matching to our thinking.

We started the Dashamanothsava year 2010 by inaugurating the British Biologicals Block. Charting a very ambitious goal we plan and are confident of completing the year by adding to this 9 more big projects. Clinic at NTTF circle, CNC programming and operations training, RUBEE-THE ROTARY BANGALORE UDYOG EMPLOYMENT EXCHANGE, RUSSI-THE ROTARY UDYOG STANDARD INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR SMALL INDUSTRY,Soft skill programmes , are the prominent large projects. We also have plans to have school bench donation projects and would continue the buzz of activities.

2010-11 has already begun for udyog and it was very heartening to see our director Jitendra to have done a commendable job with the note book projects. So also the enthusiasm shown by Manjunath Sadar has motivated me to appoint him as the director.

When udyog has 10 strong and committed past presidents, enthusiastic new members like Sadar or D.T.Venkatesh and incoming leaders like G.P.Hege,  Shashidhar shetty, Santhosh shetty,  Venkatesh.K.S etc, udyog can start, sustain and grow further with large projects.

Well friends welcome you all to the new decade of udyog,the new year of Rotary International. The year has started with inauguration of very useful clinic and mega blood donation camp at clinic. Let us have a very good family relationships with loads of projects and fellowships.
